Alkagesta, a global energy and commodity trading company, attended the 20th anniversary celebration of SUISSENÉGOCE, the Swiss Commodity Trading Association, according to Alkagesta.
The event took place on 3 September 2026 in Geneva, Switzerland, under the big top of Circus Knie.
Alkagesta was represented by its Chief Executive Officer, Orkhan Rustamov, and its Chief Financial Officer, Orkhan Zeynalli.
The evening was opened by SUISSENÉGOCE President Nicolas Matter and Secretary General Florence Schurch.
They reportedly outlined the association's journey from an initial concept by founders Geert Descheemaeker and Jacques-Olivier Thomann to its current role as a respected voice for the sector.
The Alkagesta publication noted that Ms Schurch also highlighted the broader network supporting Switzerland's trading hub, including banks, insurers, and logistics specialists.
Alkagesta congratulated SUISSENÉGOCE on two decades of advocating for the commodity trading sector.
