Four shipowners from Sweden, Norway, and Canada have ordered four new VINGA product tankers, according to MarineLink. These vessels are scheduled for delivery in 2028 and 2029, significantly expanding the Furetank-developed series.

The new orders will bring the total number of ships in the VINGA series to 26. This expansion highlights continued investment in this specific type of product tanker across different international shipping markets.

MarineLink reports that two of these newly ordered vessels will be owned by FureBear. FureBear is identified as a joint venture, indicating a collaborative effort in the ownership and operation of these tankers.

The VINGA product tanker series is developed by Furetank. The ongoing orders suggest a positive market reception and demand for the design and capabilities offered by these vessels in the shipping industry.
