Greek shipping company Enesel has expanded its dry bulk orderbook by adding a new Newcastlemax vessel, according to Splash 247. This latest order marks the company's return to the dry bulk sector, bringing its total newbuilding count to nine within just over a year.
The Lemos family-controlled firm has commissioned a 210,000 deadweight tonnage (dwt) vessel. This new ship is scheduled for construction at Hengli Shipbuilding, located in Dalian, as reported by Splash 247.
Delivery of the Newcastlemax newbuilding is anticipated in November 2028. This addition signifies Enesel's rapid expansion in the dry bulk market, following its exit from the sector approximately a year prior.
